I have no previous climbing experience, is Clip 'n Climb for me?

Clip ‘n Climb is designed to be fun for EVERYONE regardless of ability! The difficulty of our challenges vary so there’s something for everyone to have a go at, from beginners to experts. Our staff will also be there to assist with those less confident.

How long do Clip 'n Climb sessions last?

Before you climb you will take part in a 15 minute safety briefing session and harness fitting, followed by 55 minutes in the arena and 5 mins to debrief and remove your harnesses.

When do I need to arrive?

Your briefing will start at the time that you have booked.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, we have a car park at the front of the Centre. Please park sensibly within the marked bays.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers.

Only closed toe shoes are allowed. For safety reasons, we cannot allow sandals, flip flops, high heeled or croc style shoes into the Clip ‘n Climb Arena.

Long hair must be tied back and all loose jewellery, hats or hooded tops must be removed prior to climbing for safety reasons.

Do I need to bring any equipment with me?

No, equipment is provided by us and there are no additional hire fees for this.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Yes, we have wheel chair access, if you require further assistance please speak to a member of staff.

Do you have lockers?

Yes, we have lockers, they are big enough for coats and  bags. Keys are available from the reception.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Indeed we do. They are available to purchase online- please visit our Café and Shop page.

Do spectators need to pay?

You only need to pay for those climbing, whether they are 4 or 94. Spectators can enjoy watching their friends and family climb from our   café area, which runs alongside the climbing arena.  We know that having a family member to help and encourage you is important to many children and we endeavour to let 1 non climbing adult in the climbing arena with each climbing child, however if we reach our maximum capacity, the Duty Manager may ask non climbers to leave the climbing arena.

Can I leave my child alone at your site?

Young people, over 11 years of age can attend Clip ‘n Climb without an adult with them, however they need to be booked in by an adult who has signed their waiver – this can be done online.

What ages can children climb from?

During open climb sessions (standard climb), climbers need to be 4+ years olds.

Toddlers, 2+ years, are only able to climb during our Rhyme ‘n Climb sessions and our  Family sessions, which take place at 9am Monday to Saturday throughout the school holidays.

Can we bring our own food?

Customers and guests are NOT PERMITTED to consume food or drink at Clip ‘n Climb Bicester unless it has been purchased from our on-site Café, except for weaning babies. You can bring your own filled water bottle to consume
during your session – but only water is allowed within the climbing arena.

The only other exception is linked to cakes for either a Famous 5, Snowdon, Ben Nevis or Everest birthday party, and this will be explained by our Party coordinator when making a birthday party booking.

Birthday cakes are not to be brought into The Clip ‘n Climb Café.

This is as part of our commitment to Natasha’s
Law.

We would like to Thank You for helping us better support people with allergies, by not bringing your own food,  into the Clip ‘n Climb Café.

What is your cancellation policy?

For standard climbing bookings you can reschedule your booking up to 48hrs in advance of your booking date. We do not offer monetary refunds; however, we can issue a voucher to be used at bicester.clipnclimb.co.uk. Vouchers have a 12 month expiry from the day of issue.

Under exceptional circumstances, where we are unable to provide the service, a refund will be provided. If an enforced closure is placed on the business by an enforcing body, meaning we are unable to host your climb on your original day of choice, a voucher to the value of your booking will be issued to enable you to rebook.

For Exclusive Climbing Sessions and Corporate Events, you can amend your booking up to 14 days in advance of your booking date.

For ALPS, Rhyme ‘n Climb and all other instructor led children’s sessions, you will need to provide us with at least 28 days’ notice prior to the first session that you would like to cancel; we will refund all monies paid, minus an admin fee of £5 per child. If you give us less than 28 days’ notice, no refund is available. Please allow 10 working days to process refunds. We cannot offer refunds for missed days due to illness.

What if I need to cancel my session due to illness?

If, on the day of your booking, one of your climbers is unwell and you are unable to attend, you need to email info@clipnclimbbicester.co.uk before 9:30am to move your booking to a date between 5 and 30 days from the date of your original booking. Please note requests received via phone or after 9:30am on the day of your climb are unable to be moved and you will lose your climb. When emailing please quote your booking reference and the date and time you wish to move your booking to.  Amendments due to illness made the day before you booking can be made via email or phone.
