Clip ‘n Climb Bicester
The Climbing Assistant position is a key position in the Company. The key purpose of this post is to maintain supervision of customers in the centre; to ensure they get the most from their session, have an enjoyable visit and that they are safe throughout their visit. As a Climbing Assistant you are the face of Clip ‘n Climb Bicester.
Job Purpose:
To ensure the centre is ready for customers.
To ensure customers are safe and get the most out of their session.
To provide a friendly and efficient service to all customers.
To carry out tasks as set out by the Duty Manager, your line manager and Company Directors.
To be a proactive member of the team

Main Duties:
Operations:
To ensure the day-to-day preparation of the facilities for a variety of sessions and private bookings both within the climbing arena and throughout the building.
To clean all areas of the Centre including, but not exclusive: arena, café seating area, toilets, reception, staffroom, storerooms and to ensure exceptional standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
To be diligent about compliance with the Health and Safety Policy.
To take on relevant responsibilities during Emergency Procedures.
Customers:
To communicate effectively with customers to ensure they are fully aware of how to behave in a safe manner in the climbing arena.
To supervise the arena area, and assist climbers in difficulty,
To pro-actively provide information to promote the Centre to the public at all times.
To respond positively to customer enquiries.
To engage with customers so that they get the most out of their session.
To ensure that all users behave in an orderly manner at all times and take appropriate action should any member of the public misuse the facilities so not to ruin the enjoyment or compromise the safety of other users.
Self:
To undertake training as necessary in line with the development of the post and agreed with the directors.
To achieve and demonstrate agreed standards of personal and professional development and related tasks within agreed timescales.
Other:
To carry out other duties as required.
To adhere to company policies and procedures.
To assist with the preparations of resources for sessions.

Family Sessions
£10.00 Per Climber
Suitable for those 2yrs+
Friday 4:00pm
Saturday 9:00am
Sunday 9:30am
First session of the day during the holidays.
Safety Briefing followed by 30minutes of climbing
Our Family Sessions are aimed at those with younger children or those whose children may find standard sessions too busy or a long time to concentrate. If you have a child with SEND you may wish to try one of our family Sessions or our SEND Session on a Friday evening.
You can book your session through our online system – remember, you only need to book for those who are climbing, parents and carers are allowed into our arena on a 1:1 basis to support their climbers.
Toddlers aged 2 & 3 must have a non-climbing (free of charge) adult with them on a 1:1 basis.
However, any adults wishing to climb with their children will need to book in as normal.
